Jan Müller Elected New President of the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce
Jan Müller, Chairman of the Board of J. Müller AG, has been elected as the new President of the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce (IHK). He succeeds Gert Stuke (Friesoythe), who held the position for ten and a half years and has now been appointed Honorary President.
"Traditionally, a major focus is on vocational training, especially dual education. I want to contribute to these efforts and shape them entrepreneurially," said Jan Müller. Other key areas include the development of rural regions, securing skilled workers and managers, and enhancing infrastructure in rail, road, waterways, as well as fiber optics and mobile networks.
The Oldenburg IHK represents the interests of 68,690 companies in the Oldenburg region, which includes the districts of Ammerland, Cloppenburg, Friesland, Oldenburg, Vechta, Wesermarsch, as well as the independent cities of Delmenhorst, Oldenburg, and Wilhelmshaven.
