Jan Müller re-elected as President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Our CEO of J. MÜLLER SE, Jan Müller, has assumed the office of President of the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the second time. During the constituent general assembly at the end of January, he was unanimously re-elected by both longstanding and newly appointed members.
Alongside his extensive responsibilities within the family-owned company, Jan Müller considers it a key priority to actively help shape the economy and create favorable framework conditions for businesses. In recent years, he has already achieved important successes, including the positive regional positioning through the “Powerhouse Nord” initiative and the strengthening of the region’s profile in the agricultural and food industries as well as in the energy and defence sectors.
In his second term of office, Jan Müller is once again setting clear priorities. In addition to the partial redevelopment of the IHK headquarters in Oldenburg — the “Haus der Wirtschaft,” scheduled for completion in 2029 — his agenda includes promoting dual vocational training, regarded as the “core DNA of the economy,” as well as advancing major infrastructure projects such as the Autobahn 20, the new railway bridge in Oldenburg, and the expansion of the federal highway E 322.
