J. MÜLLER Prepares for the Future and Strengthens Its Leadership Organization
Effective October 1, 2023, Sören Flensburg, Cedric Witten, and Christian Henning (pictured from left to right) were granted power of attorney for J. MÜLLER Weser GmbH & Co. KG. With this special authorization, the employees relieve the management of further responsibilities and take on key areas of responsibility. The company J. MÜLLER thus establishes a strong second management level and prepares for the future.
'The appointment of the procurators is part of the reorientation of the management organization at J. MÜLLER Weser. The goal is to establish a strong second management level below the management board to meet the demands of the rapidly growing company and to maintain the agility of the medium-sized enterprise,' says Thomas Bielefeld, Managing Director of J. MÜLLER Weser GmbH & Co. KG and spokesperson for the board of J. MÜLLER AG.
Sören Flensburg (34 years old) took over the entire AGRICULTURE & Bulk Goods business area in addition to his previous responsibilities in AGRICULTURE sales. This business area includes not only sales but also the commercial processing of products such as grain/animal feed and bulk goods. Flensburg has been employed at J. MÜLLER for ten years and has completed a part-time master's degree in business administration successfully.
Christian Henning (36 years old) is responsible for and leads the operational area of operations as a procurator. His area of responsibility encompasses all operational sites and lean management at the J. MÜLLER locations in Bremen and Brake. Henning began his career at J. MÜLLER in Bremen with training as a warehouse logistics specialist. After several years in the industry and part-time qualifications, including as a transportation specialist and process facilitator, he returned to J. MÜLLER Weser in 2020 and has since been responsible for the Bremen location as the operations manager. To manage the growth at the Brake and Bremen locations with an increasing number of commercial employees, he will further develop the operational structuring and optimization under his leadership.
Cedric Witten (34 years old) is responsible for and leads the Technical & IT department as a procurator. His area of responsibility includes the electrical engineering and mechanics departments at the Brake and Bremen locations, as well as cross-company IT administration, IT development, the vehicle workshop, inventory, and fire protection. Mr. Witten has been with J. MÜLLER for ten years. In addition to his role in the management of automation technology in the electrical department since 2013, he has increasingly taken on project and management responsibilities in the technical field.
